In the first installment of this unearthed Q&A series, the Walt Disney of filth dishes on epic plane crashes, Pink Flamingos, naked fans, and a Christmas movie about meat thieves you’ll wish existed.
I saw an exhibit of John Waters life and films at The Academy Museum Of Motion Pictures in L.A. in May. It was one of the best exhibits I have been to in recent years. I picked up his book Carsick there and read it. Very fun book. I need to watch more John Waters films.
What a lovely interview with a true iconoclast. He made an appearance on Homicide, Life on the Streets that was hilarious. Thanks Tim!
I imagine it *was* hilarious! Most everything John Waters does is hilarious! Thank you for weighing in, Amanda. :-)
A true national treasure. Great interview, Tim!
Thank you, Dan. It's one I am most proud of. And I agree--John Waters *is* an American treasure. :-)
