The Clash was FAR from "milder." And the Elvis and Wednesday posts are certainly a part of the aesthetic in this space. Which is extremely into the Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, etc. But I appreciate you enjoying my Substack. You are absolutely welcome here. And I appreciate your perspective. Thank you. 🙂

I was a Munster's kid. I think only because it came on immediately before or after another show I watched after school (Maybe Gilligan's Island?). As an adult, I would likely watch The Addams Family but probably not The Munster's. I thought Wednesday was very enjoyable and I'm looking forward to the next season. Not being much of a punk music listener I didn't recognize the music or have any idea who recorded it but I was intrigued enough to check out the credits to see who it was.

Thank you for your feedback. "Not being much of a punk music listener," you say? Well, everyone IS welcome here, and I appreciate your support. But I am curious as to why you would sign up to read what is essentially a punk culture website, if you're not really into it?

Well, I enjoy most types of music other than disco and rap. Though I grew up a bit late for the Hippie movement, when I was in high school ('77-'80) I was very much into the Sixties music and ethos (still am) and found the punk scene to be far too angry and aggressive for my liking. I like milder groups like The Talking Heads and The Clash, but I can't enjoy the Sex Pistols, New York Dolls, etc. My children were into the Punk scene so I heard quite a bit when they were young but never did develop any liking for it. But I enjoy reading about music and musicians. So far, the articles I have read here were about other subjects, such as Elvis and Wednesday. As I mentioned in a previous comment, I watch the Otis Gibbs YouTube channel. He recommended Michael Corcoran's site and he recommended yours.
