Welcome back, my friends. You may recall in Part One of this epic conversation with the Circle Jerks/OFF! frontman (who also was Black Flag’s first and best singer), the Hermosa Beach native spoke of learning to sing from 1960s AM radio, current touring drummer Joey Castillo’s catalytic effect on the Circle Jerks’ stamina, how he’d give a few politicians their just desserts during a Super Bowl halftime show. In Part Two, he clarified the exorbitant costs in taking the CJs on the road one more time, and had just begun explaining why new material is likely not forthcoming from the hardcore pioneers.
