I’m beyond grateful that 214 people tuned into the livestream last night—and that number has already climbed to 642. That’s staggering. It reminds me there’s still a worldwide audience for this weird, phantom punk/blues/rock ’n’ roll I do.

Yeah, I muff a chord here and there, or miss a note in a lead. That just proves I’m human, making human music. And that’s the point.

I’m also deeply thankful that enough was dropped into the digital tip jars to put $80 toward my rent. That may not sound like a lot to some people, but right now? It means everything.

I know how hard things are right now—I’m working two jobs, and it’s still not enough. So I don’t take a single dollar lightly. I know what it costs to even put in five bucks for a little music. That’s why this was never just about the money.

It’s about you letting me into your homes, through the wire and the screen, to play my songs and speak my truth. It’s about that connection.

And I’m so damn grateful.

I’ll be doing more of these. When I can. When I’ve got something to say. When I need to feel the spark again. I hope you’ll keep coming back.

And if I’ve ever come off ungrateful or entitled—I’m sorry. I’m human. I stumble. But that doesn’t make me amoral. Just flawed. Just trying.
